Pilates North Certification

Mat & Reformer Pilates Certification
September 13, 2019 – March 22, 2020

The Pilates North Certification program is a combination of exercises adapted from Joseph Pilates’ original repertoire and exercises developed by the founder of Pilates North, Lisa Schklar.  Lisa is a leader in functional movement training and rehab protocols. With a career that spans 16 years and with over 30,000 hours trained, Lisa’s style of instruction is sought after by those looking for a fresh approach to core stability training.

This is a comprehensive course developed to incorporate modern exercise protocols, which are based on current research in exercise physiology and bio mechanics.  Teaching instructors to understand anatomy and movement is our main goal.  The course will provide new Pilates instructors the tools necessary to safely and effectively challenge clients from all fitness level to improve their bodies through Pilates inspired exercise. The Pilates North Certification Program will cover over 600 exercise variations on Mat & Reformer.
