Class Policies

We have spent the last 12 years developing a systematic and progressive approach to Pilates training that is unique to Pilates North. We are comitted to seeing our clients improve their bodies and health. We are dedicated to providing consistant quality instruction and expect the same consistancy and quality effort from our clients.

We ask that you carefully consider our policies before registering for a class as they are firm and will not change. We are up front about all policies and hope to attract commited pilates enthousiats who are looking for structure and accountabilty in their workout.


Late Registration
Essential/intermediate/Advanced Classes that are not full after the second week of class will only accept clients on a pro-rated basis with an instructor’s approval. Introductory Classes will not accept late registration back to top.

Missed Classes
We allow one make up class per session. Missed class can be made up at one of our scheduled make up classes. (posted 3rd week of session). All Make up classes are run at an Essential Mat Level. You must book a space at the front desk in advance to reserve a space in one of the make up classes. Missed classes cannot be carried over to another session. back to top.

Refunds
Class cancellations received at least 4 working days prior to the class start date will receive a refund less $50.00 administration fee. Cancellations after this point will be charged in full.

Exceptions to these policies will not be made. By registering for a class, you agree to adhere to these policies back to top.

Clothing, etc.
Wear comfortable clothes such as T-shirts with long shorts, bike shorts, tights or leggings. Clients should be barefoot or socks in class. We have changing rooms available. In consideration of other clients we ask that you refrain from wearing heavy perfumes. Cell phones and pagers must be turned off and left outside the Pilates studios. No cameras, video/tape recorders are permitted. back to top.

Weather/Emergency Cancellations
If classes are canceled due to inclement weather or other emergencies, there will be a general message on the main line at least two hours before the class is scheduled to begin. Cancelled classes can be made up by signing up for an additional makeup class in the current session. back to top.

Holidays
The Studio recognizes all statutory holidays. No classes will be held on these days, unless specifically announced. back to top.

Injuries/Physical Limitations
It is the client’s responsibility to disclose information regarding physical limitations or medical conditions prior to registering for a class. Any undisclosed physical limitations or medical conditions might result in removal from the class without refund. Pregnant clients are not allowed to attend mat classes. If you become pregnant during your class you will be removed from the class and a credit note will be issued. back to top.

Reception Hours
We are staffed in our reception area during the following hours:
Monday–Thursday 9am-1:pm and 5:45pm-8:15pm; Saturday 10 am-12 pm;
No Reception on Sunday (Special hours held for workshops)
