We are pleased to announce that Pilates North and Riverdale Pilates are working together to bring to you the Mat and Reformer
Pilates Process Teacher Training Program.
The Mat and Reformer Training Courses (Level I & II) are held over 5 weekends consisting of 60 studio hours. The in-depth training focuses on safety, logic, and the key element of addressing not just "what" but "how" to teach. A teaching assistant is added when the class reaches 8 students to ensure full and detailed guidance to all students. As with all Pilates Process Courses, manual fees are included in the cost.
Laura Helsel the owner of Riverdale Pilates has created a course that uses her strong background in rehabilitation as a foundation for teaching the core exercises of Pilates. We believe that her attention to safety and adaptations to individual needs is unique. We have researched many different methods of the last 9 years and this is the first course we have felt confident enough with to bring into our Studio. It is intended for those with limited training in functional anatomy and little to no prior teaching experience.
